I just picture people gossiping (he is also, btw, a coworker) and I hear my moms voice buzzing in the back of my head telling me I need a "man" with a "career" and "his own house." what if I'm the one making more money? Are we so shackled to our old-fashioned way of life that I have to worry about this kind of stuff? Ugh.
And I don't even make much money. I work in retail. I don't want kids. I just wanna live life.

OK, so now I will chime in

: it is NEVER a good idea to date a co-worker. It is a HORRIBLE idea. Someone always has to leave when the party is over. And it's sooo awkward if something happens. Plus, coworkers do and will gossip. People are bored and have nothing better to do. You will give them fuel!.
In addition, what is your company policy on dating colleagues. Most companies have a policy in place for a very good reason.
OK, off my "mom box".
Have fun and be careful (there I go again sounding like a mom (rolling eyes)
