There's another thing that happens, which i didnt acknowledge until a moment ago.
when i'm stressed and there's no immediate danger to my health, i begin an obsession with the english language.
this comes in many forms, once i was in a psychotic depression years ago, i spent three days writing words, kinda playing word association on my own. if i start to feel like i'm failing at life i start obsessively doing spelling tests online and base my confidence in my own intelligence on the outcomes.
When i'm super stressed, like in driving lessons or at work, i start to become super focused on facts like the word symmetry is not symmetrical and it take over my mind for days and hours.
now i am writing lists of words with all five vowels, because i had a hard driving lesson. its feels like i'm searching for something with a conclusion.
does this make any sense?
is it a good way of coping with my stress levels or is it an unhealthy obsession?

I would say if it makes you feel beter then keep it up, but if you hate doing the writing then find another way to cope.
