Yes good experiences along with changing behavior helps but there's also many ohter factors. The building blocks for self esteem start when we're young with the guidance of good parenting. My confidence also became stronger as I got older. Taking care of oneself with healthy eating and exercise helps. Learning assertiveness helps too
