Hi brackenbeard,

That was a good article. I liked how tangible she made the process of turning negative to positive. I have been in recovery for a while from various issues. I wanted to encourage you not to tackle this all at once. I started by taking one issue and working with that. First, you have to recognize that you are thinking negatively. When it's brought to the conscious level, then you can work on changing. Second, don't be hard on yourself, know that this is a process that will take time. Every time you notice a negative thought first acknowledge it, then reframe or rephrase it. After you've turned it into something positive, either thank or congratulate yourself. I'll write more later, I'm just trying to get ready for work.
