Hypomania has definitely played a part in my tattoos. Generally I like tattoos but I'm not mad on them. I've had to literally sit on my hands so many times when manic to stop myself getting more done!! I've had some piercings and very nearly (but thankfully managed to restrain myself) had more e.g. microdermals on my face!!! I think the thing that has stopped me has been my partner would literally kill me!! It has been very hard but I've managed it!! It's interesting that other people experience the same!
