Aw gosh thanks Leed.
The cardiologist results were all good. The echocardiogram showed no structural abnormalities. The results of the holter monitor and a couple of ECGs showed that I've a regular heartbeat just that it's very fast. The Dr. thought that the most likely explanation is that it's my meds, but that if my meds are working for me, the fast heart rate isn't serious enough to change my meds for. That was the good news.
The less great news is that my cholesterol levels are really high. So the Dr. said either I have to go on a really strict diet or go on cholesterol meds. Since I can't really control what I eat since I'm living in the sober living place and meals are included but you don't get a choice in what's served, I guess I'm looking at meds. I'm not crazy about the idea, but it's something I'll discuss with my family Dr. when I see her next, which will be after I get my next bloodtest in a couple of weeks.
Thanks again for asking.
