1. It's a tragedy that he was sexually abused.

2. The fact that he was sexually abused does not entitle him to mistreat you.

3. Do you want to spend your time chasing someone who isn't willing to get any help?
If the answer is yes because you love him what does that say about your self worth?
If you want to fix that part of yourself it will help you from accepting mistreatment from anyone.

I'm sorry if my words are coming across harshly. I have a friend who would rather be with anyone than be alone even if it's unhealthy. She is trying to work on that in therapy but it's difficult.
