I find that the older (and wiser?)

I become, I have learned how to not care whether I fit in or not. I have always felt different, and I'm somewhat a loner. The people closest to me are my family and my fiancee. I have a few friends, but I have learned to weed out the ones who are false. I had friends who only wanted to be around me when I was in a really great mood, and they always expected me to entertain them. Now I have found that I'd rather be alone then put up with people who only want to be around when it's beneficial to them. It sure feels good to let go, very liberating. And you can sure tell who your true friends are when you're not doing well!
