Thank-you guys.
Would going to the sleep test with him be an option? Like in the waiting room or something? There would be doctors around just in case? His sleep study is in the hospital so waiting in the ER would essentially be going with him

We are 600 miles away from any close friends or family. So I have my neighbors that we have dinner with sometimes but that's it. But I completely understand what buggs is saying about strange places with lots of people could be worse.
Does your pdoc know about these, and can't you get some meds, even if it is a one time dose for this particular night? He does that's what the AD was for but I had to be taken off it. He's out of the office until Aug. 1st.
ETA: This will be my husband's first time in the hospital without me steps away so with him it may just be he want's me in the hospital.
Do you have meds for them? No, just the lamictal, and probably melitonin tonight.
What causes them? The feeling if I fall asleep some one will kill me or hearing others fight. Which is not as paranoid as it sounds given up until recently we have lived in area's are known for there particularly high murder: citizen ratio.
How often do you get them? When I'm really depressed, or hypomanic and in that about to fall asleep state or when others fight.
What are the chances of having 1 in your husband's absence? I don't know because we are in a trailer now and quite honestly this will be my first time home alone at night ever. Yes I'm almost 30 and have never stayed by myself for more then 2-3 hours.
Are you aware that worrying about a panic attack is likely to cause 1? No I wasn't
What usually brings one on? Depression, paranoia, neighbors, others fighting, night.
