Often times when my anxiety is bothering me I watch Tv. This forces your mind to focus on something else. I try to stay away from anything dramatic . I often watch children's shows because they are simple & easy to process ( that way I don't over think ). Also I try to control my breathing. When things get really bad I usually get in the bath tub, that always calms me down. Hope that helps .
