Skittles, it's unprofessional for a T to talk about her family and stuff. She's here to help YOU, not to exploit you by having you listen to her personal stories. I'd say finding another therapist is a move in the right direction.
Getting off risperdal cold turkey is a bad idea. It needs to be tapered off.... Unless perhaps you were taking .25 mg? I don't know how that can be tapered....But if you were on 50 mg. or more, it should be tapered off gradually.
