Some of what you describe maybe AS.

People can learn social skills as they age. This is well known knowledge in the AS community.

Lack of eye contact is only one part of the "marked impairments in the use of non-verbal behaviour." Not everyone with AS has problems in this area. Some people actually have good interpersonal skills. They just cannot make and/or maintain relationships. Note: Quite a lot of people with AS have one or two close friends. Many are married and even have children.

Everybody is different.
