Hi dear Tinkerbell ~ I hope you're getting more than one opinion on this about your daughter. It seems that doctors are ALL TOO OFTEN diagnosing children with Autism nowadays. They're slapping this condition on kids more and more lately, and I just think they do it when they don't know what really IS wrong with the child. Perhaps NOTHING is wrong with the child -- perhaps the child is just plain quiet and different! I'd get another opinion before I deemed her definitely Autistic.
And don't hesitate to cry in front of your children. Like SoupDragon said, if God didn't want us to cry, He wouldnt have given us the ability. There's nothing wrong with it. Parent's get sad sometimes too - we just don't want to scare the children.
God bless and keep us posted, ok? Hugs, Lee
