I used to have terrible flashbacks. I was horribly bullied as a kid. Horribly. Anyway, for years and years I had flashbacks on it. I never talked about it with people and I should have. I know it's embarrassing but that's the point of therapy is to get the sludge out so that you can have a more meaningful and happy existance.
I went through some pretty big trauma a few years ago, which stopped the flashbacks on that... this time, though I've talked about my trauma and that helped me.
