First let me say WELCOME to Psych Central, and also let me say I'm so very sorry for the loss of your beloved Mother. It is so very hard to lose a parent! I've lost both mine now, and I feel like an orphan, even at my age. (63). There is always something you want to tell or share with your parents, and now you can't.
I'm glad you went to Rehab -- and I know how hard it is to get/stay clean. I'm a recovering alcoholic/addict, and the early days were very difficult for me. I kept as busy as I could so that I didn't think as much about using, and it really helped. Plus my group kept me busy too, thank God -- they were life savers!
I hope you're still going to meetings and they are very important! Not only do they help keep you sober, but they keep you humble too.
Best of luck, and remember to take baby steps -- one day at a time. God bless and take care. Hugs, Lee
