Hello cheer6996! Sorry to hear you are going through this with your family! Sometimes people are trying to help but the way they go about it is really stupid. Parents are just screwed up people like everybody else. They do the best they know and sometimes it's not very good. In just a couple years you'll be getting out and starting your own life. You sound very smart and I think you will make a good life for yourself if you don't let drugs and alcohol get in your way or an unplanned pregnancy. Do they have a good guidance counselor at your school? It's summertime now and I don't know what might be available. Maybe your Mom would be willing to get some family counseling? I know divorces are tough on the whole family and she might need someone to talk to also. Welcome to PC and I hope you find the help and support you need here.
