I try to have a sleep routine but with my job it's almost not possible. I work 3 1/2 nights a week and don't get off work until 11. I don't get home until 11:30 and when my daughter is home I have to be up at 8am so I pretty much have to go straight to sleep when I get home.
But I've learned with my anxiety and sleep, along with sleep affirmations, getting a back rub really helps me go to sleep quickly. My fiance has been doing this for me every single night for about 4 weeks now. I'm so lucky! But even with that it doesn't stop the dreams.
I just don't like the feeling when I wake up. Most of my dreams, I can be brutally attacked and even feel the pain to an extent but I am not afraid in the dreams, sometimes I am but most of the time I'm not. I just don't like the memory of the dreams, the images that tend to linger of the dream and the groggy out of it state I get in all day after. But that's a great idea to exercise, I bet it would make things easier.
Thank you all for your replies. I hope we all can get a horror free night of sleep tonight!
