If you are an adult, the ADD is probably here to stay. The good news is most people respond well to the ADD meds. The meds, combined with therapy and knowlege can keep the symptoms under control. I did not know what I was dealing with until I was 43 years old. I cannot believe how much better I feel, post diagnosis. Things finally make sense...
