"What do you do when you"...... "react in anger to someone's rude comments"

I think it is "normal" and healthy to feel angry in response to a personal attack or rude comments. It's even healthier to learn not to take the other person's rudeness or meanness personally and realise it's their problem, not yours. Maybe they are just having a bad day

The trick is to learn to manage your behaviour..... to respond rather than to react.

Your reaction when angry, hurt and triggered might be to attack back, send one or more hurt emails.... etc. But, like Rapunzel said, you can learn that you will be ok if you can just wait it out. You won't feel that bad for ever.....Go away from the situation...... I am rambling.... like Sky said, your doctor or therapist is the best person to help you with this. It does get easier if you do the work

Take care,
Fuzzy
