Also, you might try looking to see if there is a local CMHC (community mental health center). I have found a few for friends just by Googling "Community mental health center in 'your city and state'". They often do a sliding scale fee based on your income. Universities often have counseling centers as well, so if you live near a campus, you may want to call there or look on their website to see if you could get services through them (the counselors there are usually master's and doctorate students in pursuit of some sort of degree in psychology).
