I just don't understand it, this has always been a problem for me. I just cannot handle being seeing a movie with sex in it with my parents. I just sink into my seat and my anxiety goes through the roof. I just don't know how to react. Am I supposed to enjoy it? Get excited at the naked women? How am I supposed to react? It just feels so WEIRD in front of my parents. It's gotten to the point of where I flat-out just try to avoid seeing R rated movies with my parents, and I'm 20! I suppose it would make sense though. I have never talked about love and sex with my parents. I never do, and they notice this. I really don't know why I feel so uncomfortable about this subject around them. I am just getting so sick of this anxiety I feel over sex scenes in movies when watching them with my parents. With friends it's fine, but with my parents... Yeah. Like watching the girl with the dragon tattoo, and the rape scene? The amount of anxiety I experienced during all the sex scenes in that movie... I'm still recovering from that...
