Personally I don't think being diagnosed Borderline is a death sentence. I believe that with hard work in therapy a person with BPD can improve her/his live significantly and then choose a career that satifies personally and financially. There may be a change in the direction one chooses to go in a career but that doesn't mean one must live in poverty.
