I was diagnosed with ADD about three years ago. I tried generic Adderall (Non-Extended Release) and it was a home run right off the bat. I also tried Ritalin, but I thought the Adderall was more consistant. I tried Vyvanse (It's a new XR, like a more advanced drug based off Adderall XR, I think)

If the med works, you should know almost immediately, then it is a matter of finding the right dose for you. I like the Non-XR, because I take what I need for the day I'm going to have. I never exceed the prescribed dosage and usually take a little under what I'm prescribed.

Ask someone you trust to help you monitor how you are acting, just to be safe. The meds are different for everyone. What works for me, might not work for someone else. You should begin to feel better soon.
