I too am sorry that your supervisor snapped at you and the coworker laughed. Everything happened at the same time, and my feelings would probably have been hurt too.
Instead of cutting yourself, next time if something happens to upset you try to say a little prayer and breathe deeply to let GO of the hurt -- get the hurt OUT of you. But don't cut yourself anymore. That doesn't solve anything sweetie, and it doesn't effect anyone else -- all it does is hurt YOU. And why do you want to hurt YOU. You didn't do anything wrong, right? All you did was ask an honest question. So you had no reason to cut yourself. Now, I KNOW that's not the reason you're cutting -- it goes much deeper than that -- and you do need someone to talk to about it.
Can you start seeing a therapist? You really should be seeing one, hon. I hope you will think about it and make an appointment. God bless and take care. Hugs, Lee
