I know this is a friendship and not a relationship but I have learned that for better or worse it is just as hard to leave as it is to be left.....I am not sure how much time has passed since all this has happend but I do know you can't just simply pick up where you left off when it was all good...what happend needs to be addressed in regards to your and your "ex best mates" feelings in regards to the situation...if you can't find common ground then it is probably best to leave each other alone....
