Taken the MMPI (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory) before? I just found a pretty legitimate, automatic-scoring version of the test perchance. Since I couldn't get to sleep, I figured I'd give it a go. Nothing better to do & I love wasting my time on silly online quizzes!
I've since sent my old scores to the recycle bin... But when I took the inventory the first time, it said I was lying to make myself sound worse than I really am even though I was answering with absolute honesty! My test was, for all intents & purposes, invalid. I decided to take it again after I drank a coffee, took a painkiller, & decided I'd lie about a few answers to make myself look more "realistic"... Now my psychopathic deviant score is 20 points less, but I'm evidently not lying my *** off.
I'm just wondering -- What gives? Is it really that outlandish for an antisocial/psychopath to be totally honest & they have reverse engineered some of the answers to account for it or what? I was just doing the thing out of curiosity, but now I'm wondering if anyone else had similar experiences?

And also, if anyone's bored: http://kevin-goodman.com/?p=1245
This test is fairly short & I like the concept behind it. I scored Se-Am-Mo-Ap-En/Ti-Ln-Ls-Ma-Sn-As. You'll find out what it means when you get around to it. ; )
Thanks for this!
