Hi ! It is your mothers JOB to keep tabs on you and know where/what/how you are doing at all times, so in a way she is your "jailer." LOL She MUST know where you are at all times. You ARE under her control at ALL times. You MUST do what she says at ALL times. Why is this? Because she is responsible for ALL your actions until you are 18. Up until that time, SHE can be sued for anything that you do !!! How would YOU like that responsibility?? Some day YOU will have children, and YOU will be the "bad girl" in the family. It will be up to you to determine all the rules & regulations for your kids. And it will be up to you to make sure that these rules are followed & obeyed. Usually the father doesn't get involved in these things. Why? Because he works 40 hours a week, and he thinks it's the mother's job to punish.  That's NOT true -- it's both parents job, but that's the way things work most of the time.
Your mother is might be controlling, but she HAS to be!! You are only 15 and you are NOT of legal age. She has GOT to "control" you and see to it that you obey ALL rules. You cannot HAVE "freedom" -- not total anyway. You can have a little bit, but that's determined by your mother.
Your Mom sounds like a good Mom. Be patient. You'll be of age soon, and then you can get your own place, and be independent, if you can afford it! Please take care and God bless. Hugs, Lee
