Well, he did say he had to work over the next week -- possibly he's at work already. He didn't say exactly WHEN he was starting work, did he? Maybe that's where he is, and when he gets out, he's just too tired, or else he's going out somewhere and doesn't have time. Yeah, I know --- that hurts.
Try not to obsess about it. I'm sure he'll get in contact with you sooner or later. In the meantime, keep yourself busy with something. But try not to think about him all the time. I wish you the best. You have a challenge ahead of you.  Godbless. Hugs, Lee
