You very well could have. As I recall, the "Thanks" button stopped appearing on my own posts the same day the new "Hugs" button started appearing on everyone else's.

I don't mind talking to myself as long as no one else is around to hear me. If I ever thank or hug myself, I'd rather do it offline. I feel a little safer not having the Thanks and Hugs buttons where I could click them by accident.
