I spent yrs going without help. Going from one suicide attempt to another, seeing random psychs who didn't have a clue and turning me loose in a couple of weeks. It wasn't until I entered treatment, a prog run by local Healy authority at the time that I was recommended to the T I see now. It was a very long journey with lots of casualtys along the way.
