I always found it weird that all of my parts respond to the hosts name. It's been a survival mechanism in keeping my DID a secret though. I don't even know any of my part's names. Except once I took a lot of ativan and somebody spilled the beans in my journal. (drug assisted interview on my own). The part wrote "It's Joe Joe here". I don't remember any of it. I have short term memory loss from the drugs. But we all respond to the host's name. I've found other people with DID prefer to be called different names.
