update! i had my appt last tuesday in the afternoon. my state insurance pays for it to a point but i have to be tested for add/adhd by the community center that have psychiatrist as the therapist couldn't do any testing but that is what i was told on the phone by the customer service!

she asked me questions why i believe i have add/adhd and my family history. i really hate discussing my family history to strangers i have another appt in another week i hope i have the gas to get there. after i broke down, she told me there seems to be more to it than just add/adhd you may have it just blockage from your trauma. of course, that may be true and she said but u r still welcome to get tested for add/adhd.

im in the room for 2 hrs with her and my bf knows. i have him down as an emergency contact. the therapist doesnt know i still live at home with these issues i told her i stay with my bf and his father. i said that because my family assistance mail gets sent to their house and dont want it to be sent to mine because that will be a civil war between my parents oh but it was their idea to go to the state for help! actually, my sister told me to swallow my pride and apply to the state for assistance.
