Yes, I read a good while back that the active ingredient in red yeast rice is what they use in statin drugs. So, I stopped that, too.

Now, as I mentioned, the FDA has made it illegal to sell the old Red Yeast Rice in this country (U.S.A.), and the kind now sold has very little of the active ingredient!
