Sobergirl, when I go through this it is quite hard to get out of, but while laying in bed I will think about the things I need to do, as well as the things I want to be doing if I weren't so depressed. The next day I force myself to open the curtains and let the sunshine in.

Force yourself to do something physical, go swimming or take a walk. If you have enjoyed yoga or meditation in the past do either of them even if you don't have the energy. The energy will come in time, the key is to force yourself to do something everyday, no matter how small, that you can gain energy from.

I don't know if you tend to isolate yourself when you feel this way, but if so force yourself to talk to someone each day. I tend to withdraw from everyone when depression sets in and that only makes it worse.

Wishing you the best!
