Ya never know till you meet Tony if you really like him, Texting and Instant messaging can only be so much--- and hey maybe you will and even if things don't get to that "match maker" idea, well you went out and meet someone new

If this was a set up by a good friend of yours (Ray) and he knows how you were with your last relationship (which I would imagine that was painful with what you have wrote) I think your friend would have your best interest out for you if he is a good friend (you would have to answer that ) I hope he is by the way.

OH- and I would think if you had a bad break up with your last guy, and took a long term break from dating-- I would imagine that would leave butterflies in your tummy when getting back out there--- BUT in Truth- Only you can really answer if you are ready to go back out and try again with dating.
