And Louisiana received several hundreds of millions of federal dollars more than it should have in Medicaid funding which Jindal diverted to other parts of the state budget.
I'm not sure why the Louisiana government would be confusing federal disaster funds with Medicaid funds.
I am also not sure what you mean by "Louisiana... having pretty much been decided they've recovered from Katrina and oil spills, etc."
I doubt that Louisiana has recovered from Katrina or the BP oil spill.
I'm pretty sure Jindal is on record that he would reject stimulus money and ACA funds and would not expand Medicaid.
Despite all this Louisiana, like other "red" states, receives more "big government" federal funds than "blue" states. Hypocrisy anyone?
