I have been "my mother's mom" for a long time. I am now in my 40's.
You have been given a great suggestion by another forum member, to find someone to talk to, counselor, family member, etc. Take it from a veteran "mother's mom." This is a great time to you to get support and learn to take care of you.
I have spent most of my life feeling that I had to figure out everything by myself. It can get lonely. I am glad that now I know that it does not have to be like that.
