There is plenty a point to you. You are a good and kind person. You are going through rough stuff. I have to catch up on threads. I take it this is work related. That does not define you. Plenty of people have been very successful in their careers, while leaving a wake of destruction behind them in people whom they neglected and hurt. I'm glad your parents were able to help you, and I hope they did it cheerfully. Life will bring plenty of opportunity for you to help them. To me that's part of what Family is about - mutual insurance. No one member is left to suffer alone. Everyone has everyone else's back.

This may be a time for crying. It won't always be that. But I won't tell you to cheer up. You are in pain and nothing cheerful about that.
