I've used this site Geeks To Go to get rid of lots of stuff.

Just sign up (its a free service, BTW and you don't get spam emails) and then go to this section You must read this before posting a Hijack This Log and follow the instructions. If you still can't do anything, you just post a message saying what your problem is and someone will help you out. (Don't worry about the HijackThis thing, you only have to do it if you still can't get rid of stuff)
