I knew I was bp before an "official dx" so I assume she is speculating and doesn't want to persue the whole find a pdoc just to be medicated. Lots of ppl go without meds until they no longer can for whatever reason. Furthermore some docs see you one time, base it on one answer to the questions and send you out with 15 prescriptions.

Answer to original post, they gave me a few and sent me out with 15 prescriptions (exaggerating). Funny how all of them have very similar symptoms, ptsd, bpd, bp..oh and I'm anxious lol, haven't officially got a diagnoses for that but I definitely know I have that without a doc's input :P
