I have an appointment with a new psychiatrist next month! The shrink I have now is ok, but I find he doesnt listen to what I'm saying, and he doesn't take me very seriously. I understand that PDOCs are very busy, and have patients that need him a lot more than I do, but thats no excuse. Every patient has a right to a psychiatric evaluation. I dont know if I've gotten that, actually.

Anyway, enough shrink-bashing; I'm really glad I am getting a second opinion. Maybe even get a few meds shifted around.

Is there anything in particular I should do to prepare for this appointment -- besides making notes of symptoms, meds, diagnoses, issues...?
