My neuropsychological assessment lists Schizoaffective and another p-doc dx'd with that too, but all p-docs since then (since 2009) dx'd with bp1, the last one with "bp1 with psychotic features". As has been mentioned, the drug treatment does not differ. I think you are doing exactly the right thing by giving it some time.
