Having been both a therapist and in therapy, I can tell you that termination (if that is what the session is - and I'm assuming that from the prior post) is something that affects both parties involved. I agree with critterlady - use the opportunity. Therapy is a great place to work on ending relationships on a good note. I always thought that therapy gives us a chance to do in an artificial situation (you know, you probably never would have an intimate conversation about your life with that person UNLESS you were in therapy) what we can't do in real life.
