Was able to see my niece when got to the hospital. She couldn't sit up at first however, when we left for the night she was sitting up and having chicken nuggets from McDonalds....
She has a very serious infection that could take up to a week to get better and then has to have a surgery to fix the button that ruptured.
She told us all about the hellicopter ride and was in much better spirits toward the end of the evening. When kissed her on the forehead before leaving could feel how hot she was with the fever from the infection.
This girl is a fighter, she has been through some pretty rough things as far as her health is concered.
Am not sure when going to see her again, prob. give her a day to rest on Tuesday and then go spend the day on Wed. with her to give her mom a break to do what she needs to do.
