I have had MANY nerve blocks/injections in the spine, and NONE of them worked. Some people get relief from them, but a good share of the people I've talked to (and I've talked to hundreds) say that they never got any relief from them. They are just HUGE money-makers for the doctors because they get anywhere from $1,500 to $2,500 just to do them! So naturally they recommend that their patients have them. Trouble is, the success rate is very low. I'm surprised that it is still recommended!

If it does work, you can get relief anywhere from one week to a few months, but it's temporary and then you have to have it again. There are risks in having the procedure done. Anytime you inject anything into the spinal canal, there are risks, so make sure you talk that over with your doctor.

Best of luck. I hope it works for you. Hugs, Lee
