diana, i can totally relate to your debilitating depression. does it stem from your move? i got sober in eastern PA and the meetings in PA as a whole are wonderful and welcoming. it's old AA. plus lots of club houses opened 24/7. so you could go in between meetings if that would work first to wet your feet. hope you'll respond re your general location in PA. perhaps i can help. i got sober up there and not bragging but have l-ooong term sobriety. i owe it to my AA club, my higher power and AA for my sobriety. for you as for me bace then a drink won't help anything at all. it will only make things worse! stay in today, pray, and get to a meeting. nothing self destructive will come from it. only happiness and serenity.
so glad you posted. it's clear you know what you need. meetings, AA. don't wait any longer it only makes it harder. i've moved 3 times since my going to AA up there. i dove into meetings right away when i moved cuz i knew it would help. i'd cry even before i went-depressed, lonely, overwhelmed. but i went anyway. my life as i knew it depended on this. please keep posting. u can pm me if you'd like too.
ps can you contact your friends and sponsor from whence you came? that will help too if you share your feelings with them also.
