Hi everyone,
I have lordosis, which limits my movements and causes back pain. I've been to 2 doctors when I was younger, one prescribed a myorelaxant and the other told me I should swim more. Neither helped, so lately -since the pain got worse and my posture is terrible- I've been looking for exercises that I could do at home to get a little better.
Stretching exercises offer only temporary relief, some yoga exercises work better, some make things worse. Last week I tried doing the 5 tibetan rites and they work wonders. I wanted to share this link with you all, in case someone here can benefit from it as well.
I can't do all 5 of the rites, not so much because it would cause pain but simply because my spine just isn't flexible enough. I adapt the movements I can't perform to my capabilities and I'm already feeling a great difference. Finally I sleep through most of the night: no more waking up every 5 minutes to adjust my position
I really hope this will help someone else here as much as it's helping me. Just remember to be careful: if in doubt, ask your doctor if it's ok for you to do this kind of exercise
Take care
