I am sorry you are feeling so bad. I think it might be time to reach out to pdoc. I find when I talk to him early it's easier to prevent the depression from becoming severe or, if it is severe, from becoming life-threatening. As hard as it is, there are some habits that it is important to keep doing: meds, diet, exercise, sleep and other individual must-dos. When you let them go, it's almost inevitable that you continue to get worse. In my case, when I got depressed, I lost the desire to eat. I did an experiment one day and forced myself to eat supper and within about 30 min my mood improved from about a 2 to 3.5 (out of 10.) I was still depressed, but in taking care of myself, I improved my mood. I did not want to prepare supper, and I did not enjoy eating it, but I am glad that I did both.

It is said an Eastern monarch once charged his wise men to invent him a sentence, to be ever in view, and which should be true and appropriate in all times and situations. They presented him the words: "And this, too, shall pass away." How much it expresses! How chastening in the hour of pride! How consoling in the depths of affliction!
