I'm thinking you just have trouble switching gears. If you say, "how happy life I am living is compared to girls who are illegally being prostituted. . ." you are comparing yourself to other people, who happen to be girls, and what you imagine their lives must be like so the person (like me :-) who then says, "gee, why are you comparing yourself to girls if you are a boy?" is the one who is having the problem, not you; stay with them and "answer" their logical question/statement with whatever answer you have, which might be, "because I imagine girls being prostituted in Russia have worse problems than I do and the person's gender does not matter to me; if you prefer, "how happy the life I am living is compared to boys who are illegally being prostituted".
You do not need logic, you have your own style/words/thoughts and, when discussing you and what you are feeling/experiencing they are fine.
