Hi there! Have you been diagnosed with depression, or are you being exceptionally blue right now? I agree, getting OUT and doing something will help... stop in at a restaurant and chat with the wait staff... or go to the libray and meet the workers there... and yes, volunteering to help others does help us feel better about ourselves.
Are you sleeping well? Eating right? Self care is important. I've lived many different places in my life, and no, it isn't easy while you're still a stranger.
